“A Rebellion” is a short animated film for my final Media project in high school. With prior knowledge of cut-out stop motion, I wanted to further explorer this media form by making my own production from scratch.
“A rebellion” tells the story of discarded food striking back against a wasteful person. Quirky and fun, it targets teenage audience, first to entertain them, and to make them consider the food waste issue. I was inspired by childhood stories which imply that there will be consequences, possibly some kind of punishment, if you waste food.
All the filming was done in my room using a basic digital camera and a tripod. The editing was completed with Windows Live Movie Maker.
